Inwood Emergency Dentist
When you have a dental emergency, you can't simply wait until a weekday. At the office os Elliott Gutman, DMD, we offer emergency dental work on Sundays, a day when the vast majority of dentists are not working. Of course, we're here five other days for you, as well. We understand that when you have an urgent need, time is of the essence. And we will make certain that you are seen as quickly as possible.
The two most common reasons why people need our
Inwood emergency dentist are toothaches and traumatic injuries or accidents in which one or more of your teeth are knocked loose from their sockets (dislodged), or have become completely detached (avulsed). A toothache can range from minimally bothersome all the way up to excruciating. Either way, our
Inwood emergency dentist is fully prepared to examine you, take x-rays, evaluate the situation, and administer the most effective and appropriate treatment. It might mean a filling for a cavity or a replacement for one that has fallen out. Or you could require a crown for a tooth that has been chipped for cracked. Root canal is also possible, but advancements in technique and equipment have taken the anxiety out of the process. You can expect little or even no pain at all. As for dislodged or avulsed teeth, root canal might be necessary for them, too. This is especially true for avulsed teeth. While successful treatment is not a sure thing, all efforts will be made to save the tooth. For avulsed teeth, keep them moist in a container of milk or one with warm water and a pinch of salt to give Dr. Gutman the best chance.
Depend on your
Inwood emergency dentist when you have a serious problem that cannot wait. Keep our number programmed in your phone.
